Jo Ann Cheatham: With the clubs, yes, but it depends upon the musician who you’re going to see. St. Nick’s Pub [in Manhattan] tends to get a large tourist crowd. When you’re in a club like Birdland, or the Blue Note, you have to have a certain posture – you can’t yell out, that’s etiquette, and that’s while sometimes the experience is different.
