Billy and Bob R. used the newsletter to get the news out about E.A.T., to articulate the ideas and goals for the organization and start telling artists what would be available to them from the 9 Evenings equipment or technical help they could get. Also the newsletter announced events and activities aimed at recruiting engineers.
