    Variations come out of High Society. It was a part of the Creole culture. Alphonse Picou. Big Eye <span class="fullMatch" id="match_550">Louis Nelson</span>. Charlie McCurtis. All them old clarinet players, they played the variations. That's what the instrument is for.
