    It was just the fact that I was allowed to sing from the hymnal and could be in the choir, as opposed to sitting out front. I could not sing in the pulpit at the Pentecostal church. But at the Methodist church I was in the choir, and there was no ostra- - I wasn't ostracized or anything because I sang and at a young age was known for singing.
