    I honestly did not see a jazz band live until I was an adult, and it was at the Emporium of Jazz in Mendota, which was the jazz mecca for the Twin Cities. And I remember going out and seeing Max Morath play out there, who has become an extremely close friend, a dear, dear man. Max Morath is just a phenomenon as far as I'm concerned, there's nobody like Max Morath. I would love to see him here ...
