Well, we scuffled. Let's see, we went to the Savoy in New York. By this time we were playing "Froggy Bottom" and things like that. They called me in to sing because Chick Webb was really blasting town with all bands and they were getting rid of all bands that came in there. I guess you heard about that era; it was sensational. When he came in you just prayed that you'd go over. So they called for me and I'd be out in the car, I'd be downstairs playing miniature golf, and I'd go up and break it up, `cause I was so tiny.
