Jimmy Morton: My sister was a church organist, and I was living with her at that time and the piano was hers. Randy [Weston] knew there was a piano there and he brought [ Thelonious] Monk, and Max [Roach] because there was a piano there. When it was over my sister was so impressed that [ Thelonious] Monk was there!
