I was with him several times. I was with him one time for a year, another time a year-and-a-half, and then a third time too, I think. Long after I'd been with Duke Ellington and everybody, I was in New York. Benny Goodman was doing stuff up at Yale - one concert. You [? ] and do a series of six concerts. I did all those with him.
