    Well I was trying to record. That's when I did St. Martin de Porres when that great saint was canonized. That was '62 or '63. I would get gigs now and then. Dizzy Gillespie would book me - not book me but he'd recommend me for various places. I don't guess I had over 3 or 4 jobs a year. But the strangest thing happened.
