    Harold Valle: In between I went to the Flamingo Club located on Kingston Avenue; they've been out of circulation for years now. I observed some musicians being trained by Rector Bailey who had a studio on Eastern Parkway [ Brooklyn]; he played a host of instruments and I observed how he taught. The musicians acknowledged his capabilities and extraordinary knowledge of rhythm and music.
