Well that was before Robinson so I knew then, I knew more about the Negro leagues, and I followed them very closely because of the Pittsburgh Courier and the Chicago Defender and the Black publications that I read voraciously, as I read the White publications as well. And the Cubs were perennial losers. And the White Sox was just as bad over there as the Yankees.
