He recorded me, and he did not pay for the record session: Cal Tjader, Ron Crotty, and myself. So when I asked him - I said, "My sidemen are complaining that they haven't been paid and the records are out. " He said, "I can't pay you, because they're not selling at all. " So I went to the Weiss brothers, who produced those records - Jack Sheedy was his name.
