Yeah, the Ellington band. You know just before we went into the studio, we did a record called "Sunny Side of the Street. " And Johnny Hodges played a lead solo on it. And the record got to be a big hit. And Duke Ellington passed a rule that none of his men could record for anybody else. He told Johnny, "if it's going to be a hit, don't go to nobody else. "
