    Yeah. Washington, D.C., had Don Lamond. It had Mert Oliver on bass, Angelo Tompros on tenor saxophoners, and Earl Swope on trombone, Marky Markowitz on trumpet. These were all brilliant musicians. They had a small band together. They played Cavacas Grill. I knew Don Lamond way back then. He was a great player. I never heard him play with a big band.
