Jo Ann Cheatham: The Flamingo Lounge was on Kingston Avenue; Ed Stoute played there, Kiane Zawadi… The Flamingo Lounge was there for billions of years! It was worse than Slugs, the bathroom was even worse than Slugs, and it was just a little tacky bar, but they played the best music, they had the best musicians.
