And the wild part about this music, one of the wild parts is it has become in the last twenty years, it's no longer just American. It's spread around the whole world. And the people are dead serious about it too. I go to Japan a lot. I have a lot of Japanese friends, musicians. And they are just as sincere about it as any American jazz musician.
