    Well the way they say that is that because Europe is so much older than America, they have that continuity of being appreciative of art. I mean they've had art for a thousand years instead of two hundred, or one hundred in the case of jazz. Plus I think one of the reasons jazz is not well liked here in this country is strictly race prejudice you know. And always was, right from the beginning. ...
