    It was falling apart. The Depression had set in. One of the worst depressions this country ever seen. It hit the South earlier than it hit other parts of the country, because the big factories, they keep the big business and factories and manufacturing deals in the big Northern cities, or cities above the Mason-Dixon line, because it's heavily populated, and it all goes with vote and politics. ...
