In a way, yes, but they had reason for leaving me out. I wasn't important to them. So there. I had to understand that. Because I looked around. People like James Brown, they were friends. All those kids. They were popular, but they were friends where I was concerned, and they treated me as a friend. So the artists in the business treated me with respect.
