Well maybe for the musicians of 1959, but by the time '63 had rolled around it had been thrown around enough times at jam sessions and gigs that some people understood what the choices were, and that for as many choices as there were that would eliminate some of them. So for us it was, what are the best ones of the choices, and can we make them sound musical and reasonable every night.
