She didn't. But on those days that we had to go to the clinic, she'd call the school and tell them we wouldn't be there that day and that she was taking us to the clinic. The school never said anything, because they understood what she was doing, trying to help her children. It went on like that until they decided those shots they were giving us wasn't improving anything.
