They were recordings. Sometimes people would come to town, like Wardell Grey, and he called me on the stage and I had a chance to sing a song with him, and <span class="fullMatch" id="match_35">Percy Mayfield</span>. The rhythm and blues artists were the ones mostly who came through town. Gene Ammons.
