Jimmy Morton: Yes, there was a place on Eastern Parkway and Bedford Avenue – I think they called it Town and Country , and I MC’ed there. And I remember somebody had a fashion show, and I MC’ed there. But most of it was music. Based on what happened at Tony’s [Grand Dean], I became an itinerant MC. I would be MC’ing at all kinds of places (laughs).
