I'll give you something good. I'd say that Doc Severinsen tried to maintain a standard with that band, just as high from the first week he became the leader, as to the very last week. And it never slacked off, ever, ever. And I think he deserves a lot of credit for that because everything comes from the leader, you know what I mean?
