Yes, when I recorded with Blanche Calloway. That was before we went to the Pearl; I remember now because later on I went back to Kansas City with the hand and then Andy Kirk received a wire for them to come to Chicago. They went without me. They left me in Kansas City and what I did was join them because Jack Kapp wouldn't record them without me.
