No, I seen different bands do that around here. Joe Darensbourg. Seen him do that with Manuel Perez's band. You can spark the whole, you can pull the whole band, not by the tempo, but you can give it a whole lift as a feeling if you jazz that rhythm up. Banjo players could do that, because they didn't have pianos in the band.
