    Cozy Cole. Cozy Cole could play the snare drum. He could play press rolls so it didn't sound like a press roll. It swung. He was a great reader. In fact he and Gene Krupa got together and had a drum studio together for years. Gene Krupa says he learned an awful lot from Cozy Cole about rudiments, being able to read.
