Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T) was an organization founded by Robert Rauschenberg and Billy Klüver that operated from the mid-sixties to the late-seventies. The source for our information is a series of 141 documents and photographs provided by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Archives, as well as an [https://www.rauschenbergfoundation.org/artist/oral-history/julie-martin oral history transcript with Julie Martin], former E.A.T. Director. Our goal is to model information about E.A.T. (finding connections between people, places, things, and ideas) using a relationship coding methodology on these documents. The first step is to enter information about the documents themselves into our Wikibase. Using information provided by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, we were able to create a series of properties to describe these documents.
The bulk source of data is a collection of 141 documents shared by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Archives including an [https://www.rauschenbergfoundation.org/artist/oral-history/julie-martin oral history with Julie Martin], former E.A.T. executive director. Martin also offered primary sources regarding E.A.T. from her personal collection, and has been a source of guidance and knowledge all throughout the course of this linked data project. Additional documents regarding E.A.T. have been provided by the Cooper Union Archives & Special Collections and The Getty Institute Special Collections.

As we start to code relationships within the content of our collection, one main focus has been connecting art works with their specific performances, and the events at which they were performed. Our practice is to duplicate information across these different pages for easy querying. An example can be seen with the work [http://base.semlab.io/wiki/Item:Q19506 Pelican], with its specific performance [http://base.semlab.io/wiki/Item:Q20661 Pelican (First New York Theater Rally performance)], at the event [http://base.semlab.io/wiki/Item:Q19270 First New York Theater Rally].
 
A number of properties used to model this performance data are reused from previous Semantic Lab projects, like “Linked Jazz” ([http://base.semlab.io/wiki/Item:Q2 record] | [http://base.semlab.io/wiki/Item_talk:Q2 description]).
