    Well at one point, this was the popular music of the day, sort of. It was never really hard core jazz that was popular. But it was on the surface it seemed. But the big band era. Hundreds of bands, maybe half a dozen or a few more, ten, really good ones, the rest of them were terrible anyway. But they were out there working. But ninety-five percent of what you would hear on the radio was junk.
